Incase Your Photo is NOT permitted for Change by DGS in the above expected time and your Course Start Day Comes near, Please Inform the Director well in advance by email to harinathhoontrust@gmail.com with all details, and request for Shift / Postpone of your Course.

DGS E-Learning is a MANDATORY FREE Module. It is separate for each Course.

As per DGS Rules, this must be completed (100%) , and the assessment PASSED (With Minimum Pass %).

To complete the DGS E-Learning, Please visit www.dgshsipping.gov.in , and Click E-Learning and Enter Modular Section.

When to do it?

This can be done Before or After the Virtual Classes and Exit Exam.

Once you complete the HMI Virtual classes, you can Appear for the DGS Exit Exam. The Certifcate will only be GENERATED once DGS E-Learning is also completed.

All STCW Basic, Advanced, Modular and Refresher courses have DGS EXIT exam applicable and is MANDATORY.

This is NOT Applicable for Simluator courses and NOT Mandatory for Competency courses.

After Completion of HMI Virtual Classes, you will be Eigible for the DGS exit Exam for which a FEE of Rs 295/- is charged by DGS Per Attempt Per course and same has to be paid to the Insitite & we shall Pay to DGS on your behalf once your Online Virtual Classes and completed.

NOTE: You Shall get a Maximum THREE DGS Exit Exam attempts to PASS the each course. In Case you Fail all Three attempts, you will have to repeat the Course at the Institute by Re-Booking.

Once your HMI Online classes are Complete & your DGS Exit Exam Fee is Paid. We shall Pay the FEE to DGS on the next working day and permit you to appear for the Exam, you will be informed via your whataspp about the permission at 1330 Hrs on the day fo the Exam.

DGS Exit Exam Once permitted by us in the Whastapp group can be attended on Any day, Timings given below. NOTE: This Must be Given ASAP, as DGS Rules will apply to such exams, HMI Will not take any responsibiulty incase of Delay in Exams.

DGS EXIT EXAM TIMINGS ON ANY OTHER DAY: 1000 Hrs to 1650 Hrs (Mon to Saturday Only) -- Sunday & Holidays Excluded

Your DGS Profile is your own responsibility.

Before we Upload you for any Course on the DGS E-Governance, make sure your Name is Correct (as per Passport) along with other details as this will Show on the Certificate as Geenerated by the DGS system.

DGS PROFILE NAME AND OTHER DETAILS CHANGE PROCEDURE:-

1. Log into your DGS E-Governance Account : Enter " Request for Personal Details Correction in Seafarer Profile " Section and Do the Needful. Same once submitted will be verfied by DGS and Change permitted.  OR
2. Contact your Indos Issuing Institute

NOTE: Once a Certficate is Issued by DGS System, Name if changed in Profile will NOT reflect on the Certificate. In such a Case you have to contact DGS for the required change, if permitted by them.

Each Course on the HMI Mobile App and the Website Clearly Displays the Mode of Education, which is as follows :-

1. Online Course : Done Completely from the safety & comfort of your Home using PC, Laptop, Tab or other suitable devices with Internet Connection. Class Joining Links with Timings will be sent to Each Candiadte ONE day before your course start date via Whatsapp only in the evening.
2. Practical Course : Done by attending HMI Physically, timings are mentioned Online and will remain Unchanged unless informed separately in the Whatsapp group or other Media One day before course starts. (Part B for Ref & STCW Courses are also Practical Courses ONLY)

NOTE: More Details for each Course is Mentioned in the "Course Description" Box inside Each Course Date/ Schedule.

Once you have Completed / Passed the Three Steps and Below:-

1. E-Learning For that course 100% and Passed the Assessment with atleats the Minimum required Pass % (Not Applicable for Simulators, Compertency & PART B Practicals)
2. Attended the Course at HMI : Online / Practical Classes, as applicable to your course
3. Passed the DGS Exit Exam for your above course (Not Applicable for Simulators, Compertency & PART B Practicals)

Once All the steps mentioned above are COMPLETE, the GENERATE CERTIFICATE BUTTON will be activated on our DGS Panel.

NOTE: If E-Learning si NOT Complete for the specific course, the Certficate CANNOT be generated, as the Generate button will not activate.

Once the Certificate is Generated and Digitally Signed, You can Download the same as mentioned below.

PROCEDURE TO DOWNLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE :-

1. Visit www.dgshipping.gov.in
2. On the Left Side Menu Click on INDOS / COP Checker
3. Select "STCW Courses" from the search Drop down list
4. Enter your INDOS No. & Date of Birth : Click Search
5. Download the Required Certificate

Will we get an E-Copy only, where can I get my Hard copy of the Certificate ?

The Certificate downloaded as above is a Digitally Signed PDF and can be kept in Digital format in your PC or Email.

To get a hardcopy, You may Colour print the same.

Candidates Holding ONLINE STCW Refresher or Basic or Advanced course certificate of 18 Months Validity (PART A) are Egligible for PART B Practicals.
